The personal data provided by the customer at the time of accepting this notice will be processed by Wallife S.p.A. (hereinafter "Wallife") in compliance with applicable personal data protection regulations and the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and confidentiality protection set forth therein.
The Data Controller for the activity of providing the service and the application is Wallife S.p.A. (a company of the Wallife SpA Group), with registered office at via Vittorio Veneto 116, 00187 Rome, VAT number 15766131005.
Wallife S.p.A., with registered office at via Vittorio Veneto 116, 00187 Rome, as Data Controller, may appoint, for each of the corporate activities carried out and when required by regulations, data processors or specifically designated persons. The legal basis for the processing of data carried out by Wallife for the purposes specified in this notice, pursuant to Art. 6 GDPR, is the performance of the contract to which the data subject is a party.
The personal data collected by the Data Controller are those provided by the data subject and, depending on the services involved from time to time, include for example: the types of location data we collect and how long we store them depend on your device and account settings. For example, you can enable or disable your device's location from the "Settings" app.
Personal, contact and user profile data: first name, last name, date of birth, fiscal code, identification document, gender identity, email address, phone number, city, postal code, country, credit card details, or any further data that Wallife deems necessary, in compliance with GDPR regulations, for the effective fulfillment of the processing purposes referred to in this notice.
Data relating to purchased products: e.g. purchase date, product price, and information on the type of assistance requested.
Data acquired through the use of the App: through the App we process geolocation data to allow the user to take advantage of the services and features offered by Wallife.
Information automatically collected from the website and the application downloadable on devices, or from third-party applications connected to and integrated by the Wallife app (e.g. IP addresses, browser characteristics, time details of access and warranty activation requests).
By this document Wallife informs the customer that the collection methods will comply with GDPR regulations and that, with particular regard to sensor data — specifically registration and transmission data — they vary depending on the operating system installed on the device (iOS/Android) and the activities detected. The data collected on the device using the methods indicated are subsequently sent to Wallife, encoded in binary format through an encrypted connection (TLS), and saved on a dedicated server for the time necessary for processing and subsequent retention in accordance with the law.
If the data subject's data is not collected directly from the user but from third parties (e.g. group insurance policy), Wallife, as Data Controller, provides the data subject with all the information set forth in this notice, including its own data and that of the data processor (where appointed), the legal basis, the methods of processing and the purposes for which it is carried out.
Wallife informs the data subject of the source of the personal data and, where applicable, whether the data come from publicly accessible sources.
If the data subject's data is collected from third parties, the user always has the right to request correction of their data if the data has been communicated by third parties or collected by Wallife inaccurately.
Wallife, as Data Controller, processes personal data using IT and/or telematic tools and, in any case, in compliance with all precautionary measures that guarantee its security and confidentiality for the time necessary for the performance of the service requested by the data subject or for the contract and processing purposes described in this notice. The data subject can always request the termination of processing and/or deletion of the data processed.
The processing of personal data provided will be carried out by persons expressly designated by the Data Controller through specific appointments, who process the data as data processors or specifically authorized designated persons. In addition to the Data Controller and the persons appointed by it, persons involved in managing the Wallife website (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal staff, system administrators) or external parties (technical service providers, providers, system administrators) may also have access to the data.
Personal data is processed at the operational headquarters of the Data Controller, the data processor, or any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located, including States belonging to the European Union.
The data is retained by Wallife for the time necessary to carry out the activities agreed in the contract and to fulfill the activities constituting the purposes for which they were collected.
At any time, the data subject has the right to request Wallife to terminate the processing and delete their data. It being understood that the data must in any case be retained by Wallife for the time necessary to fulfill legal and regulatory obligations or instructions issued by sectoral supervisory and control authorities.
At the end of the retention period, the data provided will be deleted both from Wallife S.p.A. databases and from any paper retention, if existing.
The processing of data will be aimed at carrying out the activities listed below:
Performance of the activity of providing the services contractually agreed by the parties and the application made available by Wallife, in accordance with the terms of this notice.
Carrying out, with the express consent of the data subject, direct marketing activities, such as sending advertising material and informational and/or promotional communications regarding products or services provided and/or promoted by Wallife or its commercial partners, via email, SMS or MMS.
Carrying out, with the express consent of the data subject, individual or aggregate profiling activities and market research aimed, for example, at analyzing consumption habits and choices, developing statistics on them, or assessing the level of satisfaction with the products and services offered.
The persons to whom the personal data processed by Wallife or the appointed Processors refer can at any time exercise the rights granted to them under European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and national legislation. Specifically, they can:
The Wallife website and the application to be downloaded on the user's device use cookies — i.e. tracking tools that, with the consent of the data subject, allow the Data Controller to collect and save information on the User's device while using the application or website.
The Data Controller has the option to transmit the data subject's data collected to third parties to fulfill legal obligations to which Wallife is subject, both for supervisory and tax control purposes, and any other obligation incumbent on it, including towards public security authorities (e.g. requests submitted by the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Revenue Agency, or any other requesting Authority).
In carrying out the activities referred to in this notice, the Data Controller uses software and services that allow Wallife to monitor and analyze browsing data suitable for tracking user behavior and searches.
The personal data collected and processed by the Data Controller may be used by it in legal proceedings or in the preceding phases for articulating the defense; in this regard, the user acknowledges and declares to be aware that the Data Controller may be required by public authorities to disclose such data.
